Malaysia’s squash star Sivasangari Subramaniam delivered another remarkable comeback performance to clinch the Grasshopper Cup title in Zurich, reinforcing her growing dominance on the international circuit.
The world No. 6 and third seed fought back from a 1-2 deficit to defeat Japan’s Satomi Watanabe in a gripping five-game final, winning 15-13, 5-11, 5-11, 11-7, 11-8. The intense match, held at Zurich Main Station, lasted 62 minutes and showcased Sivasangari’s resilience under pressure.

The victory marks Sivasangari’s second title of the year and her third gold-level crown, adding to her triumphs at the London Squash Classic and the Australian Open earlier this year.
