We are asking the public for information regarding an assault that took place in Country Hills last week.
On Monday, June 15, 2026, a man was pushing his 9-week-old son in a stroller along a sidewalk in the 0 to 100 block of Country Village Gate N.E., near Coventry Hills Boulevard.
At some point between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m., a youth riding a scooter along the same sidewalk passed the stroller, reached out and struck the sleeping baby in the torso, then rode away.
The youth is a white male, approximately 10 years old, with short blond hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt when the incident occurred.
A photo of the baby’s stomach, taken after this incident, is attached.
