Pakistan Maple Alliance to Host ‘The Spirit of Pakistan’ Family Festival in Calgary

The Pakistan Maple Alliance (PMA) is set to bring Pakistani culture, music, food, shopping and family entertainment together at “The Spirit of Pakistan: Celebrating Culture, Diversity & Inclusion Family Festival” in Calgary on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

The day-long community festival will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Genesis Centre, Feature Gym, Calgary, Alberta, with free entry for all. Organized by the Pakistan Maple Alliance, the event is designed to provide families, friends, neighbours and co-workers with an opportunity to experience Pakistani cultural traditions while celebrating the multicultural character of Canada.

According to the event details, the festival will feature a multicultural stage with live performances, offering Pakistani and Canadian cultural entertainment. A major attraction will be the Geton Ki Baraat, promising traditional melodies and live musical entertainment as part of the evening’s celebrations.

The festival will also include a business and cultural booths area, giving businesses and cultural groups an opportunity to showcase their products, services and traditions.
