We are asking for the public’s help to locate a man wanted in connection with an incident that left three people injured in downtown Calgary.

At about 11:40 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, 2026, we responded to reports of a disturbance at Spanky’s Saloon, located at 219 10th Ave. S.W. Upon arrival, we located three injured men, one of whom appeared to have a stab wound. All three were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe all three victims were assaulted by the same individual. The suspect was not previously known to any of the victims.

Through the investigation, the suspect has been identified as Devontae TRAVERSE, 22. He is currently wanted on a warrant for multiple charges, including three counts of aggravated assault and two counts of breaches of a court order.

Investigative avenues to locate him have been exhausted and we are now asking for the public’s help.

TRAVERSE is about 5’10” with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has information about the assault or TRAVERSE’s whereabouts is asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers through any of the following methods:
