At approximately 7:55 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026, staff at the Peter Lougheed Centre reported that a man had arrived with stab wounds. The man told staff he had been injured during a road rage incident.

The victim was initially in critical condition and has since been upgraded to stable.
