A vehicle fire reported earlier on northbound Highway 2 near the Balzac exit has now been cleared, according to local updates.

The fire was located on the right-hand shoulder just past the exit and prompted a response from emergency crews. While the incident has been resolved, drivers in the area may still experience minor delays as traffic continues to return to normal flow.

Images shared on social media showed the vehicle engulfed in flames before crews arrived on scene to contain and extinguish the fire.

No injuries have been reported, and authorities have not released further details about the cause of the fire at this time.

Motorists are advised to remain cautious while travelling through the area as residual congestion clears.
