Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects connected to separate break-and-enter incidents at businesses in Airdrie and Cochrane.

According to Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the first incident occurred on March 29 at approximately 1:30 a.m. when officers responded to a break-in at a business near 1 Street S.W. and Centre Avenue in Airdrie. Surveillance footage shows two individuals removing a large laser device from the premises.

A second incident took place about a week later, on April 6 at around 1:15 a.m., when Cochrane RCMP responded to a business alarm near First Street East and Pope Avenue. Investigators say CCTV footage again captured two suspects stealing a similar large laser device.

Police believe the same individuals may be responsible for both incidents. In Airdrie, one suspect was seen wearing a black top, jeans, dark footwear, a mask and gloves, while the second suspect wore similar dark clothing and gloves. In Cochrane, both suspects appeared in lighter clothing, including white tops, blue jeans, boots, masks and gloves.

Investigators have also identified a suspect vehicle described as a black Toyota Highlander believed to be from the 2017 to 2019 model years.

RCMP are urging anyone with information about the suspects or the vehicle to come forward. Tips from the public could play a key role in advancing the investigation and identifying those responsible.
