Police investigate fatal collision on Bow Trail

We continue to investigate a fatal collision that occurred yesterday, Friday, June 5, 2026, at approximately 3:40 p.m., at the intersection of Bow Trail S.W. and 37 Street S.W.

We continue to investigate a fatal collision that occurred yesterday, Friday, June 5, 2026, at approximately 3:40 p.m., at the intersection of Bow Trail S.W. and 37 Street S.W.

A woman in her late 30s was walking in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a commercial truck turning into the intersection.

The woman was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

The driver, a man in his 60s, remained at the scene and was uninjured.

Speed and impairment are not believed to be factors in the collision.
