Couple Arrested, Facing Multiple Drug Charges in Calgary
CALGARY — Police have arrested a Calgary couple and laid multiple drug-related charges following a months-long investigation into suspected drug trafficking activity.
In September 2025, undercover officers identified a man believed to be involved in the sale of illegal drugs. An investigation was launched, during which officers monitored the suspect over a three-month period and observed behavior consistent with drug trafficking.
Search Warrant Executed
On Thursday, January 22, 2026, police executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 2300 block of 25 Avenue N.W.
During the search, officers seized a significant quantity of drugs, cash, and trafficking-related items, including:
- 307 grams of cocaine, with an estimated street value of $30,000
- $38,899.41 in cash
- 160 tablets (substance not yet identified)
- Drug packaging materials
- Digital scales
- A money-counting machine
- Multiple cellular phones
Charges Laid
As a result of the investigation and seizure, two individuals are now facing charges.
Jamike Nwofor, 39, of Calgary, has been charged with:
- One count of trafficking cocaine
- One count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
- One count of possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000
Brittany Nwofor, 36, of Calgary, has been charged with:
- One count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
- One count of possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000
