Main Pakistan Hoon’ to Bring Powerful Message of Identity, Unity and Patriotism to Peshawar Stage

PESHAWAR — August 23, 2026: The CAT Theatre Club, in collaboration with the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is set to present a special theatre production titled “Main Pakistan Hoon” on August 27, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Directorate of Archives & Library Hall, near Peshawar Museum.

The play is being presented as a celebration of Pakistan’s identity, culture and national unity, with a particular focus on inspiring young people through the performing arts. The production carries the message: “A story of identity. A voice of unity. A tribute to our homeland.”

The play has been written by renowned actor, director and writer Batin Farooqi, a recipient of the prestigious Pride of Performance Award. Farooqi is widely recognised for his longstanding contribution to Pakistan’s performing arts and has established himself as a prominent figure in theatre, television and creative writing.

The production is directed by acclaimed actor Khalid Khattak, a well-known name in Pakistan’s entertainment and theatre industry. Khattak has earned recognition for his performances and has received multiple awards during his distinguished career. His involvement as director adds significant theatrical experience and artistic depth to Main Pakistan Hoon.

The production is being powered by the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with the Directorate playing a key role in promoting youth engagement, cultural activities and the performing arts in the province.
