The Pakistan Canada Association organized a grand and well-attended community meeting that brought together current leadership, former presidents, and respected members of the community in a spirit of unity and shared purpose. The event served as an important platform to reflect on past achievements, recognize ongoing efforts, and discuss future plans for strengthening the organization.

At the beginning of the meeting, all former presidents were warmly acknowledged for their dedication and valuable contributions over the years. Participants also appreciated the efforts of the current leadership team for their commitment and proactive approach in managing the association’s activities. The leadership emphasized transparency, inclusiveness, and community engagement as key priorities moving forward.

One of the major concerns discussed during the meeting was the sustainability of funding for running this non-profit organization. Members openly shared their views and offered constructive suggestions to ensure financial stability and long-term growth. The discussion highlighted the importance of community support, sponsorship opportunities, and organized fundraising initiatives.

President Azhar Hunjra, Vice President Hassan Nawab, and General Secretary Amir Mushtaq addressed the gathering and shared their vision for the association. Director of Youth Affairs and Sports Mohammad Naseem spoke about engaging young members through sports and community programs, while Social Director Waseem Ahmed highlighted the importance of social welfare initiatives and community support programs. Treasurer Ramsha Javed discussed financial planning and accountability, and PR Director Saima Arshad emphasized effective communication and outreach within the community.

Prominent community figures, including Burhan Khan, Naeem Choudhry, and Shakeel Ahmed, also participated actively and shared valuable insights. In particular, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed brought to the attention of members that many individuals are generously spending thousands of dollars from their own pockets to support community activities. He stressed that such contributions deserve proper recognition and appreciation from the community. He also warmly welcomed more volunteers to come forward and support the association’s mission.

The meeting concluded on a highly positive and encouraging note, with a renewed sense of unity and commitment among all participants. Members expressed confidence that through collective efforts, strong leadership, and active community involvement, the Pakistan Canada Association will continue to grow and serve the community effectively in the years ahead.
