Police investigate fatal motorcycle collision in West Springs

Our Traffic Section continues to investigate a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred in the community of West Springs.

At approximately 6:03 a.m., today, Sunday, June 21, 2026, police were called to a collision in the 100 block of Wentworth Square S.W. The collision was not witnessed and the exact time it occurred remains under investigation.

It is believed a motorcycle, operated by a man in his 20s, was travelling northbound on Wentworth Square approaching the intersection of West Coach Road S.W. when it continued through the intersection and struck a residence.

As a result of the collision, the rider was declared deceased at the scene.

At this time, there is no evidence to suggest that another vehicle was involved. Speed, alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in this collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
