Organized by Karwan-e-Sher-o-Sukhan, the event drew an exceptional response from the community and was widely regarded as one of the most impactful literary gatherings in recent years.The initiative was led by Basharat Rehan, whose efforts and commitment were central to the success of the program. The multi-day event began with a reception, dinner, and introductory mushaira hosted at the residence of noted scholar, poet, critic, and linguist Dr. Syed Taqi Abedi. It was presided over by distinguished Pakistani poet Rafiuddin Raz, while the proceedings were conducted by US-based poet Humaira Gul Tashna, who demonstrated strong command and composure as host.The main mushaira, held the following evening at a local Toronto venue, witnessed an overwhelming turnout. The hall reached full capacity well before the program began, forcing many attendees to remain outside due to space and parking limitations. Participants included Rafiuddin Raz and Nasir Ali Syed from Pakistan; Dr. Zubair Farooq Al-Arshi from the United Arab Emirates; Samreen Nadeem Samar from Qatar; Atif Tauqeer from Germany; and from the United States, Ejaz Bhatti, Owais Raja, Qania Ada, Dr. Asif Riaz Qadeer, Basit Jalili, Abid Rashid, Afzal Sahib, Neelma Tasawwur, and Humaira Gul Tashna.
