The people of Calgary are truly known for their soft hearts and deep care for others. Their generosity continues to bring hope to those who need it most.

The board members of the APPNA Alberta Chapter recently ran a fundraising campaign within the doctors’ community to support food basket distribution for needy families in the poor areas of Pakistan — continuing the same beautiful effort they made last year.

The Treasurer of the Appna Alberta chapter, Dr. Abdul Hakeem, along with key board members Dr. Amir Aslam, Dr. Shoshma Mathrani, and chair of SWDRC Committee Dr Romana presented the cheque of $22675 to the team of ICNA Calgary Chapter. The funds will be sent through ICNA Relief Canada, which will match the donation. With this matching support, a total of $45,350 will be distributed to deserving families during the blessed month of Ramadan, Insha’Allah.

The ICNA Calgary Chapter is deeply thankful to the president, board members, and all the generous donors of APPNA Alberta Chapter for supporting this noble cause.

May Allah reward them abundantly in both worlds. Ameen. 🤲
