A new café has officially opened its doors at Westbrook CTrain Station, offering commuters and nearby residents a fresh spot to enjoy coffee, snacks, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Dobré Café is now operating from the southeast corner of the Westbrook CTrain Station building, serving a variety of espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, tea, and smoothies. Customers can also choose from an assortment of pastries and sandwiches, making it a convenient stop for those on the go or anyone looking to sit and relax.

The café’s opening follows a 2024 Expression of Interest (EOI) process aimed at revitalizing a previously vacant retail space within the station. The initiative was part of broader efforts to make transit stops and stations more welcoming, functional, and community-focused.

Owner Marius Dobré said he is excited to introduce his namesake café to Calgarians and create a space that feels both inviting and memorable. By collaborating with a local coffee roaster, Dobré Café has developed custom espresso and coffee blends designed to deliver a distinctive flavour experience.

Transit riders, local residents, and visitors alike are encouraged to stop by and explore the new addition — whether they’re catching a train or simply looking for a quality cup of coffee in the area.

The café is now open and ready to serve the community.
