Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Darion, a 15-year-old youth who was reported missing from Calgary’s northeast community of Cornerstone on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Authorities say Darion is known to frequently use public transportation, particularly the Calgary Transit CTrain system, to travel across the city. Officials are urging commuters and residents to remain alert and report any possible sightings immediately.

Medical Concerns Raise Urgency

Police confirmed that Darion suffers from medical conditions and was not dressed appropriately for current weather conditions at the time he was last seen. His caregivers and investigators are increasingly concerned for his safety and well-being.

At this time, authorities say there is no indication of foul play. However, due to his age and medical needs, locating him remains a priority.

Description of Missing Youth

Darion is described as:

  • Height: 5 feet 7 inches
  • Weight: Approximately 160 pounds
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Hair: Black
  • Last seen wearing: Blue jeans and a black T-shirt

Alert Issued with National Support

Although the situation does not meet the criteria required for an Amber Alert, police are working closely with the Missing Children Society of Canada to issue a public alert in hopes of safely locating Darion.

Residents, particularly those in northeast Calgary and along major CTrain routes, are asked to check security cameras, transit stations, and public areas for any sign of the missing youth.

Anyone with information regarding Darion’s whereabouts is urged to contact local police immediately.
