Four Charged After Meth Lab, Drugs, Weapons Seized in Calgary’s Coral Springs

Four Calgary residents are facing multiple charges after police uncovered a methamphetamine production lab along with drugs, weapons, and cash at a northeast Calgary residence.

Police say the investigation began in December 2025 after officers received reports of activity consistent with drug trafficking in the Coral Springs community.

On Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 0–100 block of Coral Springs Boulevard N.E. During the search, police discovered a meth production lab located in a shed on the property.

Officers also seized more than $7,000 in cash, multiple controlled substances, weapons, and items linked to theft and drug manufacturing.

The seizure included:

  • $7,210 in Canadian currency
  • 30.7 grams of cocaine, valued at approximately $3,070
  • 92.7 grams of methamphetamine, valued at approximately $1,854
  • 2.9 grams of heroin, valued at approximately $290
  • 1,080 millilitres of GHB, valued at approximately $5,404
  • Materials suspected to be used in drug production
  • Stolen property and a device used for vehicle theft
  • A baton, stun gun, butterfly knife
  • Firearm parts and ammunition

As a result of the investigation, four Calgary residents were charged: Michael Richard Currie, 42; Darris Jan Bert Watroba, 36; Daneal Patricia Graham, 45; and Jennifer Anne Fitger, 46.

Charges and court dates

Michael Richard Currie, 42, is charged with:

  • Three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of a dangerous weapon
  • Possession of a prohibited weapon
  • Possession of proceeds of crime
  • Possession of a device for the purpose of committing theft
  • Production of a controlled substance

Currie is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026.

Darris Jan Bert Watroba, 36, is charged with:

  • Production of a controlled substance
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of prescription medication

Watroba is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026.

Daneal Patricia Graham, 45, is charged with:

  • Two counts of breach of a release order
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of a stolen driver’s licence

Graham is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026.

Jennifer Anne Fitger, 46, is charged with:

  • Two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of proceeds of crime

Fitger remains in custody, with her next court date yet to be scheduled.
