Faiz Ahmed Faiz was one of the most influential and beloved poets of the Urdu language, known for blending romance with resistance and humanism with revolutionary thought. For all this recognition of Faiz, Pakistan Maple Alliance Calgary is organizing a wonderful, memorable evening on 15 February 2026, Sunday, in the name of BIYAD-e-Faiz.
In this evening, the main brainstormer, who is a qualified filmmaker, Jamsheed Quairashi, talked with BW Times about the presentation of the programme. He said that this time we are trying to cover all aspects of Faiz in a limited time, which is a challenge. Faiz music, Faiz poetry, and Faiz classic songs are also part of this evening.
