Six people — five men and one woman — are facing a total of 37 criminal charges following a multi-month Calgary police investigation that led to the recovery of four stolen vehicles and the seizure of nearly 194 grams of illegal drugs.
The investigation began in October 2025 after police received reports of suspicious activity, including suspected drug trafficking, in the 200 block of Woodridge Drive S.W.
Between Nov. 2, 2025, and Jan. 8, 2026, officers carried out a complex investigation that resulted in the seizure and recovery of several stolen vehicles and illicit substances.
Police seized:
- 172.4 grams of fentanyl, with an estimated street value of $17,240
- 20.6 grams of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $412
Six individuals were arrested as a result of the investigation.
“With the help of patrol members across various districts, as well as our Tactical, Canine and HAWCS teams, we were able to successfully apprehend multiple people believed to be responsible for drug trafficking and stolen property-related crimes,” said Inspector Scott Neilson of the Calgary Police Service. “We were also able to return the stolen vehicles to their rightful owners. We encourage Calgarians to report suspicious activity so police can take appropriate action to keep communities safe.”
